Does a president’s prior combat experience relate inversely to his eagerness for war in office?

Eisenhower: WW2 general; sent 900 advisors to Vietnam

JFK: commanded a Navy PT boat in WW2: sent 16,000 troops to Vietnam

LBJ: a grand total of 13 minutes in combat as an observer on a bomber plane during WW2; sent 500,00 troops to Vietnam

George H. Bush: pilot of a torpedo plane in WW2, was shot down; attacked Iraq after it invaded Kuwait, ended the war and brought troops home during his single term in office.

Bill Clinton: zero military service; attacked Iraq and originated the WMD hysteria

George W Bush: flew single seat jet fighter aircraft stateside, zero combat: started the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq

Barack Obama: zero military service; is continuing the 8 year old wars Bush started, with no end in sight for either one; has tripled the number of US troops in Afghanistan since he took office

Is there a pattern here?
And I forgot to mention Clinton sending troops to the Bosnia/Serbia conflict.

It does seem so.
Good observation.
